Icon Murals - Madison, Wisconsin - 2021

On this page are a few examples of my work dating from the 1970s to the present time. I have painted icon murals on the domes, ceilings and walls of Eastern Christian churches in the U.S. and Greece. I've also painted hundreds of traditional icons on wood panels, produced numerous public murals in civic centers, schools, retreat centers, and other public buildings, and painted collections and series of paintings on various subjects. Most of my work, with the exception of the portable icon panel paintings, is quite large. Materials generally include artist's acrylic and gold leaf on canvas.
